Warzone fans slam freezing issues following Season 4 Reloaded update

Following the launch of Season 4 Reloaded, Warzone fans have slammed the sudden appearance of an issue causing them to freeze during the heat of battle.

With Season 4 Reloaded introducing the Reclaimer 18 shotgun along with another batch of buffs and nerfs to the battle royale, players have uncovered a new kind of stuttering that brings a premature end to their match much to their annoyance.

Instead of Warzone's graphics staying smooth, the game freezes when players encounter an opponent giving them an unfair advantage throughout matches.

To showcase the problem, Reddit user Veggietuh uploaded a clip of the freezing that also causes a fade to black, leaving the player completely unaware of the action taking place around them.

The clip shows the player inside a building before the gameplay disappears when an opponent is in close proximity. As a result of this, they're unable to fight back and the enemy eliminates them with ease.

As expected, there are plenty of unhappy players expressing their frustration surrounding the freezing. One fan says: "The store, they fixed in 5 minutes and to fix this s**t it will take them weeks."

While fans wait for Raven Software to fix the freezing, some have found a temporary solution to avoid the problem altogether. "Turn off challenge notifications," says one player. "I have mine off and don't get this at all."

The cause of constant freezing in Warzone remains a mystery but with a temporary workaround proving to be the cure before the developers release a fix, at least players can prevent it from ruining matches before the focus switches to the launch of Season 5.
