Oxygen Esports have announced the departure of Mitch “Dream” Malson after the “team decided they wanted to move in a different direction,” according to the 25-year-old’s post

The American joined Oxygen Esports in March 2022 and helped the green roster to qualify for two Six Majors, one Gamers8, and one Six Invitational. Under Oxygen Esports, Dream featured in one Six Major semi-final and finished in third place of the Six Invitational 2023 after falling against the eventual champions, G2 Esports.

Unfortunately, the now-former Oxygen Esports player hasn’t revealed what his future steps will be. With the upcoming split not starting until August, the 25-year-old has a few months to look for another team before the beginning of the North America League 2024. It will be interesting to see if any roster decides to give Dream a chance in the Esports World Cup qualifiers, which will kick off on June 19.
