With the developers continuing to adjust weapon performance, the best Reclaimer 18 loadout for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone continues to evolve.

The shotgun arrived as part of the Season 4 Reloaded update and pays tribute to the iconic SPAS-12 shotgun much to the delight of old-school Call of Duty fans. Armed with a lethal damage output and solid mobility, there's a high chance it manages to spice up the existing meta throughout Season 5.

With that said, find the best MW3 and Warzone Reclaimer 18 loadouts to use in this guide.

Best MW3 Reclaimer 18 loadout

After some initial testing in the gunsmith, this build provides lightning-fast reaction times perfect for snapping onto any target that flies around a corner. Check out the full attachment combination below:

  • Barrel: Ironbrand Long Barrel
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Stock: Hinge LAF Light Stock
  • Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Retort 90 Grip Tape

To extend the Reclaimer 18's range, the Ironbrand Long Barrel is the barrel of choice. It also increases ammo capacity which always comes in handy when dealing with a large number of opponents at once.

For the fast reaction times and additional accuracy when firing from the hip, the VLK LZR 7MW does the job well thanks to reductions in sprint-to-fire and aim-down sight speeds. Paired with the DR-6 Handstop and it's so easy to lock onto a target.

Next is the Hinge LAF Light Stock to bolster hipfire spread, movement speed, and aim walking speed. The faster movement speed allows players to compete with fast-moving submachine gunners.

Lastly, the Retort 90 Grip Tape provides some helpful recoil control to prevent any unnecessary kick causing any shots to miss the target.

Perks and equipment

Once the best Reclaimer 18 attachments are ready for battle, picking a set of perks and equipment to bolster performance is the next step to creating the strongest loadout. Here are our picks for Season 4 Reloaded:

  • Vest: Infantry
  • Gloves: Commando
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: EOD Padding
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade

This set of perks guarantees high mobility with longer Tac Sprint and the ability to reload while sprinting. Covert Sneakers silence footstep audio enabling flanking opportunities while EOD Padding increases resistance to incoming explosives.

It's hard to go wrong with the Semtex/Stun combination. Throw the Semtex into a crowded Hardpoint hill for damage to several opponents. If the Reclaimer 18 delivers a hitmarker, follow up with a Stun to slow their movement and finish them off.

Best Warzone Reclaimer 18 loadout

Unlike MW3, the requirements for the Reclaimer 18 to make an impact are slightly different. With most pairing it with an assault rifle or a sniper, close-quarters damage output and mobility are the main focus of this build.

  • Muzzle: Crown Breaker Choke
  • Barrel: Ironbrand Long Barrel
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Underbarrel: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop
  • Rear Grip: Center Mass Grip Tape

The Ironbrand Long Barrel guarantees damage output doesn't drop off in the heat of battle while the pairing of the Crown Breaker Choke and FTAC MSP-98 Handstop prevent any unwanted kick from disrupting accuracy.

Fast reaction times and extra hipfire accuracy are always welcome on a shotgun which is where the VLK LZR 7MW comes into play. The laser improves sprint-to-fire and aim-down sight speeds alongside the Center Mass Grip Tape which also improves sprint-to-fire and ADS time.

Perks and equipment

With the best Warzone Reclaimer 18 attachments ready to go, a perk package and equipment pairing for additional damage is the next step. Here's what we suggest using alongside this powerful shotgun.

  • Perk 1: Mountaineer
  • Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 3: Quick Fix
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Mountaineer allows players to fall from greater heights without taking damage that will end the game early while Sleight of Hand allows players to reload quicker.

Next is Quick Fix. Inserting an armor plate or scoring a kill immediately starts health regeneration which is ideal when it comes to getting back in the fight as fast as possible. Lastly is High Alert which enhances overall awareness. When an enemy has clocked your location, an orange vision pulse will appear giving you enough time to challenge them or retreat to safety.
