During the Six Invitational 2025, where FaZe Clan took home the sledgehammer and USD$1M after beating Team BDS in the tournament's grand final, Ubisoft made multiple announcements regarding the future of Rainbow Six Siege.
First, the team unveiled Rainbow Six Siege's new operator Rauora, an attacker whose unique device, the D.O.M. Launcher, allows her to deploy "a bulletproof smart cover system" on doorways which both attackers and defenders can trigger. Rauora doesn't only bring a new concept to the game but also a brand-new weapon, the MK2 Machine Pistol.
Alongside the reveal of Rauora, Ubisoft also unveiled Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming season, Operation Prep Phase. While the addition of Rauora is arguably the most important change to the meta, we're sure Ubisoft will also launch balancing features that will slightly tweak how the game feels.
However, the most important announcement of the weekend was revealed at the end of the panel, as Ubisoft unveiled the next chapter in Rainbow Six Siege's history: Rainbow Six Siege X.
Keep in mind that Rainbow Six Siege X won't be a sequel. It's just an update that will improve the game in multiple areas, including graphics, audio, map designing, and way, way more!
Even though it wasn't fully revealed in front of the MGM Music Hall crowd, Ubisoft gave enough information to get the Rainbow Six Siege community very, very excited.

When will Rainbow Six Siege X be revealed?
Rainbow Six Siege X will be fully revealed on March 13, 2025 at 10 AM PT and 6 PM CET. The reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, in a special event called Rainbow Six Siege X Showcase.
The venue chosen to reveal Rainbow Six Siege X has been the Pullman Yards, which is located in 225 Rogers St. NE, Atlanta, GA 30317.
Where can I watch the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X?
People who want to watch the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X will be able to do so on Rainbow Six Siege's official Twitch channel. As per Ubisoft's official blog post about Rainbow Six Siege X, people who watch the reveal will be able to get Twitch Drops.
Can I attend the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X?
If you're a die-hard Rainbow Six Siege fan, you may be interested in attending the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X. Well, fortunately, if that's your case, we have good news for you: people will be allowed to attend the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X!
Unfortunately, the tickets to attend the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege X have already been sold out. When first listed, the tickets to attend the event costed USD$10. Purchasing one would give you access to the event as well as an exclusive long sleeve shirt and an in-game cosmetic pack.
Additionally, in order to get a ticket, Ubisoft set three eligibility requirements, including:
- Limited only to legal residents of the USA and Canada.
- Must be at least 18 years old, with IDs being checked before entry.
- Rainbow Six Siege account must be in good standing, which means it can't be currently banned or sanctioned.
