After yesterday's action, the teams will face off today again in Europe League's second game day of the stage. Both Team BDS and KOI won't feature in today's matches.
WYLDE vs. ITB
Following Usain Bolt's organization's lightning-speed victory against KOI, WYLDE is set to face ITB in the first match of the day.
The German-majority team heads to the encounter as the clear favorites after their most recent performances, including the roster's double BO3 win against Heroic at the R6 North Rainbow Rumble.
It's also worth remembering WYLDE's group stage record in Stage 1, as the team completed a perfect run of four regulation wins. Another win today would keep their record alive until, at least, next Tuesday when they face Virtus.pro.
Meanwhile, ITB is looking forward to a first-stage win as they kicked things off yesterday with a 4-7 loss against Team Secret. Despite the result, Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen's performance is worth a shout, as he ended with a SiegeGG rating of 1.54 and an entry record of 4-0 (+4).
G2 Esports vs. Heroic
The Six Invitational 2023 champions had a bright start to the stage after their disappointing performance in the Gamers8 2022 after yesterday's titanic victory against Team BDS. Fortunately for the team, it seems like Aleksi "UUNO" Työppönen fits well inside the Six Invitational 2023 champions roster.
Precisely, all the eyes will be set on the Finn, who will face his former teammates in Heroic later today. After losing against MNM Gaming, Murat "MrOfficer88" Motevalli's boys need to win the match to get back on track.
While G2 Esports won against Heroic in the Europe League 2023 Stage 1, the team defeated the European powerhouse twice in the R6 North Rainbow Rumble Europe League Qualifier. Back then, however, UUNO was still a player for Heroic.
Virtus.pro vs Team Secret
Virtus.pro, who won the Europe League 2023 Stage 1 following a BO3 victory against G2 Esports, are back in action. Despite playing a couple of qualifiers during the off-season, the Russians haven't featured in any Rainbow Six Siege competition since their appearance at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, where they reached the tournament's Phase 2.
The team's first rival in Stage 2 will be Team Secret, who had an excelent start to the second split with a 7-4 win against ITB. Following the arrivals of Luiz "Miracle" Abrantes and Kaique "Faallz" Moreira, Team Secret's roster is one of the most exciting in Europe.
So far, Team Secret has never beaten Virtus.pro in Rainbow Six Siege. Both teams have met six times in Europe's top-flight, with the Russians winning five and drawing one.
MNM Gaming vs. Wolves Esports
Last but not least, MNM Gaming and Wolves Esports will face off for the second time within two weeks. The last time they met, the marshmallows defeated the French-majority roster in the R6 Central Combine grand finals after losing the first two maps of the series.
While MNM Gaming featured in yesterday's game day as they defeated Heroic on Skyscraper, Wolves Esports are yet to make their Stage 2 debut. Although the roster eventually qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, they team struggled massively during the Europe League Stage 1 group stage. Surely, the team won't want to go through the same in this split.
Looking back at Stage 1, MNM Gaming defeated Wolves Esports by 7-5. Now, the marshmallows hope for another regulation win to keep themselves on top of Group B's standings.
