Season 4 of 2024 for COD Mobile has started and as usual, it brings a batch of new content to the popular mobile title. One of the most interesting additions of every season are the mythic weapon skins, which are sold through the store and always have extravagant and crazy designs.
This time, the MG42 has received a new mythic skin and the community is already talking about it because of its inspection animation.
The skin basically transforms the top part of this light machine gun into a full battlefield, with water, a crashed plane, a bunker, and even Czech hedgehogs along the way to make things more fitting.
To make this cosmetic even more interesting, the weapon inspection animation shows a complete cinematic of soldiers advancing through this path as if they were in the middle of a battle. User LeakersOnDuty on X (formerly Twitter) posted a video of this animation and you can see it down below:

On top of that, the music played during this animation was composed by none other than Hans Zimmer (Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean). The famous movie composer is not new to the Call of Duty franchise since he was the lead composer for the soundtrack of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009).
The weapon will be added to the store starting today, Friday, April 19, and its price will be revealed once it becomes available to purchase.
