Ville "SHA77E" Palola has had a long history in Rainbow Six. Starting his career on Playing Ducks (now Chaos and Team Secret), he moved over to GiFu eSports (now ENCE eSports) for Season 3. Playing with them for four seasons, he had achieved limited success up until Season 6 when the entire team, playing at its best, finally won the Pro League title after previously failing to do so at every season's Pro League LAN Finals.
The Finn was then picked up PENTA Sports (now G2 Esports) to replace outgoing member KS (now on Mock-it Esports), with whom he won the 2018 Six Invitational. With them, he also played the entirety of the online portion of Season 7 of the Pro League, but suddenly announced his departure from the side just days before the LAN Finals. SHA77E then returned to ENCE eSports, but only as a streamer and substitute player.
Many had been wondering when he would called back into action, given his incredible prowess had led audiences across the world to consider him one of the best players in the world, and they now have their answer.
ENCE eSports calls upon his service not so much in a time of need, but possibly in order to strengthen the side further in the run up to possibly facing Team Vitality in the Pro League relegations. Currently in the Challenger League, the team comfortably sits in second place behind Team Empire (formerly Room Factory).
SHA77E also confirmed that the team will be featuring at the DreamHack: Winter tournament in an interview released on the ENCE website. At the same time, though, he highlighted that his position in the team might well be temporary, though he did not rule a permanent return out.
The Challenger League’s final play day is on Monday, where this new-look ENCE eSports roster -- or some might say, classic ENCE roster -- will first go up against Team Empire, before playing EnD Gaming. Following this, they are almost certain to face Team Vitality in their final hurdle before what is looking like to be a return to the Pro League. Interestingly enough, Team Vitality has also announced a roster change, with their captain Bastien "BiBoo" Dulac stepping down in favour of Rémi "aPPROX" Ayari.
