Ubisoft today announced Gävle, Sweden as the location of the upcoming Six November Major, which is set to be held from the 8-14th of November this year.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and government restrictions on travel, the LAN event will not have an audience.
In order to celebrate the event, an operator bundle for Lesion is on sale in the "Siege" shop. 30 percent of the sales of the bundle will go to the event's prize pool, which will cap at $500,000.
The bundle bears the branding of the APAC region, the original announced location for the event. However, the Major was moved to Gävle following travel restrictions and local regulations in the APAC region.
This is akin to the recently completed Six Invitational 2021 and Six Mexico Major which had been held on LAN in Paris and Mexico but without external media or live audience access.
The group stage for the event will be held from Nov. 8-10, and the playoffs will be held from Nov. 12-14. There will be an announced sanitary protocol and more details that will be shared at a later date.
