XDefiant GSK faction abilities
Just like the other factions in XDefiant, GSK has four unique abilities designed to enhance offensive and defensive plays during matches. Below is a closer look at how they work.
G52 Tactical Shield
The Tactical Shield is the ultimate ability for the GSK faction. When activated, players can choose to protect themselves or to flash and melee any opponents that get too close for comfort.
It also allows players to fire a pistol from behind the shield at the cost of some defensive coverage.
Shock Wire
The Shock Wire can be distributed across a choke point to prevent enemies from taking control of an objective. Those who try to walk through the wire will be shocked and slowed giving players an easy opportunity to secure another elimination.
ADS
The ADS abilities works similar to a Trophy System in Call of Duty. The Automatic Defense System blocks any incoming projectiles that are likely to head towards an objective. The device can also be placed on the floor, walls, or ceiling.
Ballistic Helmet
The Ballistic Helmet is the passive ability of the GSK faction. The helmet reduces headshot damage meaning the chances of falling victim to a one-shot kill are reduced. Even sniper rifles are unable to secure the kill when the Ballistic Helmet is equipped.
