Bungie has taken to social media to confirm they are aware of login issues preventing many players from entering Destiny 2 and the solution they gave is a very simple one: restart your game.

That's right, no fancy workarounds or confusing troubleshoots, simply close the game and re-open it. This fix might help you whether you're on console or PC. If you're on PC, it's worth mentioning they don't want you to completely close your launcher (Steam, Microsoft Store, or EGS), simply close the game and try again.

While far from an ideal solution, and one that may not end up working, at least Bungie is being communicative with the player base, reassuring them the devs are hard at work trying to fix a lot of the issues players may encounter during this launch period.

Speaking of which, you may also run into other notable error codes that become quite common when a new DLC arrives, including error code Weasel and error code CAT, so be sure to check out our guides on how to solve those as well.
