Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon this week

An update guide to help your grind

Destiny 2 The Final Shape key art

Destiny 2 features a wealth of challenging content for high Power Level players to pursue, with Nightfall being particularly coveted due to its generous rewards.

Nightfalls are essentially strikes or other types of content such as Battlegrounds, with modifiers to make them even harder, including Champions, which require specific conditions to take them down, making buildcrafting necessary.

With the July 2 weekly reset, this is the Nightfall weapon you can expect to drop, as well as details on this week's challenge.

What is the Nightfall weapon this week? (July 2)

Shadow Price is this week's Nightfall weapon

This week's Nightfall is the Shadow Price auto rifle.

As always, the higher the difficulty, the better your chances of getting them. Here is the full breakdown

  • Advanced: 1995PL (Uncommon drop)
  • Expert: 2005PL (Common drop)
  • Master: 2010PL (Common drop)

Furthermore, Grandmaster Nightfalls are also available for those who reach 2020PL.

Is the Shadow Price good in Destiny 2?

Shadow Price is a returning auto rifle that was first introduced back in Season 13. It now comes with an updated perk pool and two Origin Traits: Stunning Recovery and Vanguard's Vindication.

While it's early to tell how good will the Shadow Price be in the current sandbox, it has an interesting perk pool that includes Overflow and Surplus in column 1, and Demolitionist, One for All, and Voltshot in column 2.
