The grind never stops and if you're looking for the Undercurrent god roll in Destiny 2, then we'll break down exactly what perks you should keep an eye out for both PvE and PvP.

Grenade launchers are always reliable special weapons that, with the right combination of perks, can become a key component of a solid DPS rotation in endgame content.

How to get Undercurrent in Destiny 2

You can get your hands on the Undercurrent grenade launcher in Destiny 2 by completing the weekly Nightfall, which is a more challenging version of the Vanguard Ops content playlist with different, harder modifiers, including infamous Champions, so better have those Hunter's Journal artifact mods in place.

Undercurrent is an underwhelming grenade launcher

After obtaining the Undercurrent for the first time, you can focus your Vanguard Engrams to obtain more versions from Zavala at the Tower. Although it may be costly, this is an effective way to increase your chances of getting the Undercurrent god roll if you're specifically hunting for it.

The cost to focus decode one reward drop is as follows:

  • Five Vanguard engrams
  • 25k Glimmer

The Power Level required for each difficulty of Nightfalls during Episode 1: Echoes is as follows:

  • Advanced: 1995PL (Uncommon drop)
  • Expert: 2005PL (Common drop)
  • Master: 2010PL (Common drop)

On top of that, Grandmaster Nightfalls are available for players who reach 2020 PL. If you complete the Grandmaster Nightfall, you'll gain access to an Adept version of the Undercurrent.

Undercurrent god roll

The Undercurrent is sadly a very underwhelming weapon in the current meta. Introduced during Season 23, the new perks do very little to shake up the value provided by this grenade launcher.

If you're still interested in using the Undercurrent with Arc builds in PvE, there are a few saving graces such as Ambitious Assassin. Unfortunately, for PvP, the options to find a god roll are severely lacking.

Undercurrent PvE god roll

  • Column 1: Linear Compensator
  • Column 2: High-Velocity Rounds
  • Column 3: Ambitious Assassin
  • Column 4: Voltshot

Undercurrent PvP god roll

  • Column 1: Linear Compensator
  • Column 2: High-Velocity Rounds
  • Column 3: Demolitionist
  • Column 4: Adrenaline Junkie

And that's it. Don't forget we have more gun guides to check out including the Shadow Price god roll and the Aberrant Action sidearm.
