The grind never stops and if you're looking for the Wild Style god roll in Destiny 2, then we'll break down exactly what perks you should keep an eye out for both PvE and PvP.

Grenade launchers are always reliable special weapons that, with the right combination of perks, can become a key component of a solid DPS rotation in endgame content.

The Wild Style was missing some classic perks that players like to have on GLs such as Auto-Loading Holster, but starting with Episode: Echoes, Bungie added an even better option in its place.

How to get Wild Style in Destiny 2

The only way to obtain the Wild Style grenade launcher in Destiny 2 is by completing the weekly Nightfall, which is a more challenging version of the Vanguard Ops content playlist with different, tougher modifiers, including Champions, so better have those Hunter's Journal artifact mods in place.

Wild Style got a major buff for Episode: Echoes

After unlocking the Wild Style for the first time, you can focus your Vanguard Engrams to obtain more versions from Zavala at the Tower. Although it may be costly, this is an effective way to increase your chances of getting the Wild Style god roll if you're specifically hunting for it. The cost to focus decode one reward drop is as follows:

  • Five Vanguard engrams
  • 25k Glimmer

The Power Level required for each difficulty of Nightfalls during Episode 1: Echoes is as follows:

  • Advanced: 1995PL (Uncommon drop)
  • Expert: 2005PL (Common drop)
  • Master: 2010PL (Common drop)

On top of that, Grandmaster Nightfalls are available for players who reach 2020 PL. If you complete the Grandmaster Nightfall, you'll gain access to an Adept version of the Wild Style.

Wild Style god roll

Wild Style wasn't topping the most-used weapon charts but had some uses in case you wanted to break free from the meta chains while adding a bit of flair or fun factor to certain builds. With the start of Episode Echoes, however, the grenade launcher had its perk pool refreshed, making it a much more reliable gun.

The most significant addition is Reconstruction, a perk that slowly reloads the weapon over time, increasing its capacity up to twice the normal amount. This perk is essential for using the Wild Style in any activity.
