To make the best out of your Prismatic builds in Destiny 2, the brand-new subclass introduced with The Final Shape, you'll want to find the Facet of Command fragment.
As we discussed in the Warlock Prismatic build guide, the key components that make every build unique and worth trying are the fragments. These fragments add special buffs and trigger certain debuffs that grant you benefits when paired with other useful fragments.
The Facet of Command has a few good uses, and we'll tell you exactly how to get it and what it does. While you're here, consider checking out how to get the exotic class items by completing the Dual Destiny mission.
How to get the Facet of Command fragment in Destiny 2
To get your hands on the Facet of Command, you need to travel to The Impasse Landing Zone in The Pale Heart. Once there we'll have to head for The Divide.
Long-time Destiny fans will recognize this location as the section where the first game started. If you're unfamiliar with it, simply head straight and follow the old abandoned road until you reach the entrance to the big structure in front of you.
Upon entering, follow the narrow pathway until you reach The Divide. Once there, turn right and continue straight. You'll know you're going the right way when you come across a regional chest, but you'll need a Lost Encryption Code to open it.
Along the way, Acolytes will start appearing, use them as reference and move towards their location. Eventually, you'll see the Prismatic chest but you won't be able to open it, as it requires a Divided Prismatic Key.
To acquire it we need to charge a station with different charges. Turn back and look at the spot in the image below. Go through one of the broken windows.
Inside you'll find a terminal that will let you transmat a Scorch Cannon. With this weapon, you'll have to shoot frozen formations around the area to find the charges.
In that same room, shoot both stations and the frozen pillar to reveal an arc charge. You need to do this six more times:
Here are the locations of the remaining six charges:
- As soon as you leave the room with the terminals, there is one in front of you
- Head back to the previous room, there's one below the abandoned ship
- Make your way back almost to the entrance, past the broken catwalk
- In the room past the abandoned, frozen ship, turn left instead of heading straight like the previous one. It's in the small room
- Instead of backtracking, this time follow the path past the Prismatic chest. Turn right when you see a section with platforms you can jump towards and make your way to the other side then turn right, can't miss it
- The final one is once again past the Prismatic chest, instead of platforming follow the path completely straight and turn left once you hit a dead end, the formation is right below an industrial fan
What does the Facet of Command do in Destiny 2?
The Facet of Command is an amazing utility fragment if you're trying to build around Void and Stasis:
- Freezing or Suppressing a target reloads your equipped weapons and increases weapon stability, aim assist, and airborne effectiveness. Defeating frozen or suppressed targets creates a Stasis Shard or Void Breach.
