Destiny 2: How to get the Facet of Bravery Fragment

A new Fragment to your collection

feature image

Getting your Prismatic Fragments can be cumbersome in The Final Shape, the latest Destiny 2 expansion, which is why we're going to break down where to find the Facet of Bravery Fragment.

Unlike other subclasses, Prismatic doesn't require you to finish The Final Shape campaign to start acquiring new Fragments. Instead, you'll find them in secret chests spread out across different missions.

The Facet of Bravery Fragment is a specially useful one if you're trying to build your Prismatic subclass around Strand and Void. So, if you're keen on finding it, here's everything you need to know about it.

Before we begin, you should also consider checking out how to get the brand-new exotic class items, which come with unique perks to boost Prismatic.

Facet of Bravery Destiny 2 location

The Facet of Bravery Fragment can be found during mission 5, Ascent. If you've finished the campaign you can select the mission by selecting and loading it straight from the Pale Heart map, as there will be a specific node.

To find the Facet of Bravery, you'll have to reach a point in the mission where you spot an abandoned ship while climbing the snowy mountain after seeing both Cayde-6 and the Crow have a short conversation.

Turn to your right while standing near the edge and you'll see another portion of the ship which you can get into easily.

The chest should be right there.

What does the Facet of Bravery do?

As mentioned, the Facet of Bravery is perfect for your Prismatic builds focusing on Strand and Void. It does the following:

  • Defeating targets with grenade final blows grants Volatile Rounds to your Void weapons. Defeating targets with powered melee final blows grants Unraveling Rounds to your Strand weapons
