Carrying content forward is nothing new in Call of Duty which is why many are on the hunt for intel surrounding Black Ops 6 Carry Forward.
The initiative first appeared in Call of Duty with the launch of 2023's Modern Warfare and saw all of 2022's Modern Warfare 2 content carried over into the new game. With Black Ops 6 and Treyarch taking over with a fresh campaign, multiplayer with Omnimovement, and zombies, fans are curious to see if publisher Activision opts for a similar approach ahead of COD Next 2024.
Find everything about the possibility of Black Ops 6 having Carry Forward in this guide.
Does Black Ops 6 have Carry Forward?
No, Black Ops 6 will not feature Carry Forward meaning no content from MW3 will feature in multiplayer. It also means none of the cosmetics will transfer over. Although the skins won't feature in multiplayer, they're still available in Warzone.
If Activision decides to change its mind, we'll update the guide with the latest intel.
Call of Duty Carry Forward explained
Carry Forward enables players to keep hold of their weapon progression and skins purchased on one Call of Duty and use them in the next. Considering Black Ops is back and Modern Warfare is gone for a few years at the very least, it'll be a while before Activision considers using the initiative once again.
So, all skins from MW3 and MW2 are still available in Warzone alongside their weapon arsenals but the cosmetics won't be available in Black Ops 6.
