Black Ops 6 prestige explained

The classic Prestige system from old Call of Duty titles is back for Black Ops 6. Once players have reached Level 55 and unlocked the entire gun list and each perk on offer, they'll receive an option to restart at Level 1, first prestige.

Some of the items on offer will be locked once again requiring players to work to the top rank once again. In total, there are ten prestige levels in Black Ops 6 multiplayer with a wealth of unique rewards to obtain.

After players reach Level 55, prestige ten, they'll reach prestige master which allows players to continue ranking up. At launch, prestige master consists of 1000 additional levels with all kinds of rewards to earn.

At launch, the maximum rank for Black Ops 6 will be Level 1000. There's no seasonal level caps anymore meaning fans don't have to wait until the start of a new season to reach the highest level available.
