With this being the first operation in the game in over half a year, the fans are very excited to get their hands on the new update. If you are one of them, say no more: Rainbow Six Mobile's Operation Ice Storm will be released tomorrow, November 12.
The new season will include multiple new features and the arrival of Buck, an operator from Rainbow Six Siege. Additionally, Rainbow Six Mobile will include a new map called Restaurant and the brand-new Dark Crystal skin.
Operation Ice Storm will be the first of the three phases of Rainbow Six Mobile's Soft Launch. According to Ubisoft's initial announcement, the three phases will be the Technical Test, the Engagement Test, and the Transitioning to Global Launch.
Only after Ubisoft has completed all of them, Rainbow Six Mobile will be ready to be released worldwide. Until then, we encourage Rainbow Six Mobile players to try out the new features.
With the release of Operation Ice Storm, Ubisoft is making Rainbow Six Mobile feel more like Rainbow Six Siege. At the same time, the team is planning to introduce features that have never been used or were scrapped from Siege.
In conclusion, while Rainbow Six Mobile has a lot to learn from Rainbow Six Siege, Siege fans should follow the evolution of Rainbow Six Mobile. Maybe, in the future, players would love to see Mobile features being used in Siege too.
