Season 13 for Overwatch 2 is starting soon, which means a new set of patch notes will come out soon. The notes will describe all the changes and adjustments the update will implement into the game.

Release date
The Season 13 patch for Overwatch 2 is set to drop on Tuesday, October 15 at 11:00 am PT (7:00 pm BST).
PC players will be able to preload the patch a few days before its release, meaning they won't have to download any major files once the season starts.
If the format remains the same, the season should last around eight weeks, with a major mid-season patch arriving in four weeks.
What do we know about the patch notes?
The complete patch notes for Overwatch 2 Season 13 will be posted on the game's official website when the season starts. However, the gameplay director, Alec Dawson, talked about some of the changes coming this time in a previous blog post.
The patch will bring some adjustments to the recently introduced Clash mode. These are meant to help fulfill the developer's objectives with this mode, which are decreasing the current stomp rate, incentivizing the capture of objectives A and E, improving the feeling of fairness, and keeping the mode clear.
In terms of heroes, Dawson mentioned that the team is looking to reduce the effectiveness of certain hero counters, like beam damage to characters like D.Va.
Sombra is also getting adjustments, with the developers thinking about reducing her Stealth ability duration.
