Doktor's Curse is finally back to Rainbow Six Siege X and, this time, the game mode is set on a spooky version of Clubhouse. Between October 22 and November 5, players will be able to run around the corridors and rooms of the German map, which has been themed around Halloween to make the experience feel scary.
Like in previous editions of Doktor's Curse, the operators are divided into Hunters (attackers) and Monsters (defenders). The Hunters are attackers that are specialized in finding opponents, with Lion, Pulse, Jackal, or Dokkaebi being the best examples. Meanwhile, the Monsters' lineup is mainly formed by trap operators.
Although Doktor's Curse is undeniably a fun mode to play, that's not the only reason why the community always enjoys the game mode. In fact, some people simply ignore the event. However, what's difficult to ignore are Doktor's Curse's cosmetics.
It's fair to say some of the most popular skins in Rainbow Six Siege X come from Doktor's Curse. For instance, Lesion's Flesheater Bundle, Nomad's Grave Robber, or Pulse's Chiroptera collections are often seen in Ranked matches. All in all, Doktor's Curse always introduces cool skins to upgrade your looks in Rainbow Six Siege X.
Doktor's Curse 2025 is special not only because it will be the first one to be played on Clubhouse but also because it includes the first-ever Mythical Memento weapon skin themed around Halloween. The Dreadful Shredder, which can be equipped on Doc, Rook, and Solis' P90, makes the gun look like a chainsaw. Needless to say, this Mythical skin includes an animated weapon inspect animation, as well as a special reloading animation.
In order to be able to claim the Doktor's Curse Memento weapon skin, you must first unlock all of the 33 items included in the Doktor's Curse 2025 skin collection. That's the equivalent to 371,250 Renown or 8,910 R6 Credits for Premium Battle Pass owners and 412,500 Renown or 9,900 R6 Credits for non-Premium Battle Pass owners. All in all, the price of the whole collection is between USD$65 and USD$70.
