The launch patch for Overwatch 2 Season 12 brought several changes to the meta, boosting several heroes to the top while adding what seems to be a balanced Juno.
We have prepared a tier list to show you which heroes are dominating the current meta so you can read about it before jumping into Competitive.
Overwatch 2 heroes tier list
Here is our tier list of all the available heroes regardless of the role they belong to:
- S-Tier: D.Va, Winston, Reaper, Tracer, Sombra, Lucio, Kiriko
- A-Tier: Doomfist, Wrecking Ball, Reinhardt, Echo, Ashe, Mei, Venture, Ana, Brigitte, Baptiste
- B-Tier: Ramattra, Zarya, Junker Queen, Orisa, Sojourn, Pharah, Cassidy, Genji, Junkrat, Torbjörn, Widowmaker, Hanzo, Moira, Juno
- C-Tier: Mauga, Sigma, Roadhog, Soldier-76, Symmetra, Bastion, Mercy, Illari
- D-Tier: Zenyatta, Lifeweaver
After the health changes, Reaper and Sombra jumped to the top of the tier list. On the one hand, Reaper can two-shot several damage and support heroes while also having a big impact over most of the tank heroes.
Sombra is similar since her hack and virus combo can delete heroes with 225 hp.
Even though she received a few nerfs, D.Va is arguably the best tank in the game at the moment. Her missiles' damage is still strong, her movement allows her to chase defenseless heroes, and her matrix remains very powerful.
Juno is here and received a few buffs shortly after the season started. However, B-tier seems her home since the hero hasn't been more impactful than other support characters above her. With her recent buffs, Mercy saw a slight improvement, with her damage boost being one of her most impactful abilities.
We will update the list every time a significant patch with several changes or adjustments drops into the game to represent the current meta.
