Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean release date
The Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean event pass will begin on Friday, July 19, 2024. This date was confirmed by Epic Games’ Fortnite Status support page after users could purchase the Pirates of the Caribbean pass early.
Those who purchased the pass early can still use their Jack Sparrow skin without issue, but you can’t progress the pass until it finally launches. And, considering there is non-pass skins coming with the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration, we imagine the other cosmetics will also launch on the same day as Item Shop bundles.

The skins included in the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration are:
- Captain Jack Sparrow - purchase the Cursed Sails Pass
- Cursed Jack Sparrow - complete the Cursed Sails Pass premium track
- Davy Jones - Item Shop
- Captain Barbossa - Item Shop
- Elizabeth Swann - Item Shop
Some of the most iconic faces from the Pirates of the Caribbean series are here, however, the notable exception is the lack of Will Turner, who was the main love interest of Elizabeth Swann. Fortunately, Epic Games usually brings back collaborations with new skins, so we may see our beloved Orlando Bloom in the future.

There’s 11 tiers on the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean Cursed Sails Pass, with 23 rewards in total if you purchase the premium upgrade, if you include Jack Sparrow. The rewards you can earn are:

Players can also unlock the Jack’s Ship glider. While it’s unknown how to unlock just yet, it seemingly requires eight map pieces to unlock, meaning you’ll likely have to hunt the Fortnite island for all of the items.
At the very least, the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration should give you plenty to do before the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 release date arrives, and before the party starts again when the Fortnite Festival Season 5 release date drops. But, the event pass is only for a limited time, so you better go treasure hunting!
