Most Fortnite seasons usually last 10 weeks, but the Summer and Holidays seasons typically last a little longer as employees at Epic Games go on well-deserved breaks at those times of the year.

As we’re not close to the upcoming season yet, promotions for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 haven’t started. However, while the official theme has yet to be announced, a leaked roadmap seems to suggest that another long-awaited Marvel season will be launched once again.
While Marvel has featured prominently in the battle royale since its inception, there’s only been one Marvel-focused season - Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. However, the leaked roadmap offers a look at Doom’s return to the Island, suggesting the villain is coming back to terrorize the world of Fortnite once again.
As such, if this leak is true, we expect plenty of iconic Marvel locations to appear around the map, as well as some Marvel items being usable in-game. We wouldn’t be too surprised to see the return of Spider-Man’s Web Shooters, for example.
Of course, there’s a chance that this leak isn’t true. However, the roadmap was correct on everything from the LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration to the surprising Metallica and Billie Eilish collabs. So, we’d argue that it’s a pretty clear that a new Marvel season is approaching.
