Rumors about upcoming crossovers continue to surface and fans are excited about Mecha Godzilla possibly coming to Fortnite as well.
While we had some bizarre collaborations recently, such as the leaked Skibidi Toilet crossover, a few have made slightly more sense. We're not saying Godzilla 100% belongs in the battle royale, especially considering you can make him wear a pair of Air Jordan 1's, but it's definitely not entirely puzzling.
While the King of Monsters himself is confirmed to arrive to the battle royale soon, with Godzilla being a part of the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass. What about one of his fiercest enemies: Mecha Godzilla?
Is there a Mecha Godzilla skin in Fortnite?
At the moment, no, there is no Mecha Godzilla in Fortnite. However, that could change relatively soon.
Will it be classic or a modern Mecha Godzilla?
Both HYPEX and Shiina, two of the most well-known and reliable dataminers/leakers in the Fortnite community, have stated that there's a high chance that we see Mecha Godzilla join Fortnite.
Sadly, there aren't any more specific details for the time being. However, with how reliable the sources are, expect it to be a matter of time before Mecha Godzilla is available in Fortnite.
Now, there's a slim chance that it ends up being a re-skin for the original Godzilla skin. As we've mentioned, the mighty kaiju is part of the battle pass as a special reward with its own set of quests.
Epic Games likes to throw at least one variant skin for players to grind. So considering Mecha Godzilla is supposed to be an exact replica of the original, it might be a simple job for Epic as disappointing as that may sound.
In any case, we'll have information soon about yet another Toho collaboration. In the meantime, don't forget a lot is going down in the battle royale, including the introduction of a brand-new mode, Fortnite Ballistic, and the start of the yearly tradition: Winterfest 2024.
