Fortnite Chapter 6 is getting closer. Fans are definitely excited for a fresh experience after multiple Chapter 5 seasons and the Chapter 2 Remix follow-up to serve as a smaller bridge between the two.

With Chapter 2 Remix The Finale scheduled for November 30, players are already anticipating what's next for Epic's battle royale. What's even more interesting is that massive leaks have started surfacing online regarding Chapter 6.

Fortnite Chapter 6 start date

While it's not completely set in stone, expect Fortnite Chapter 6 to kick off on December 1 after the required downtime period following the Chapter 2 Remix The Finale live event.

The official downtime and start date are still unknown, however, expect Epic Games to announce them in the coming days. In any case, we'll update this section once they update players.

Fortnite Chapter 6 leaks

Leaks have started to pop up on social media with reliable insiders like HYPEX sharing some content players can expect to be a part of Fortnite Chapter 6.

The biggest one so far is key art that gives fans some confirmation about new skins that will be available at some point during Chapter 6 Season 1, possibly via the battle pass or by purchasing them via the Fortnite Item Shop.

Some the things to note according to HYPEX are:

  • The return of pet back blings
  • Katana-like items returning. Possibly pickaxes and back blings
  • Godzilla collaboration confirmed
  • Big Hero 6's Baymax skin
  • New Hope skin

So far, we only have leaks to go on, but as the recent key art images show us, there's a lot to look forward to.

Godzilla in Fortnite

The biggest leak regarding cosmetics is the mighty kaiju Godzilla coming to wreak havoc in Fortnite Chapter 6.

While it's unclear how will the Toho be incorporated into Fortnite, there's a possibility it can become a unique skin in the battle royale. Epic Games will have to find a solution to shrink him down if that's the case.

Alternatively, Godzilla could become a giant boss that players will have to take down together. It all remains to be seen.

Big Hero 6 Baymax

Fitting for Chapter 6, the hero of Big Hero 6 Baymax will join the battle royale. Of course, while it's a Marvel superhero, the version more fans are familiar with is the one from 2014's Disney film, which is the one seen in the leaked artwork.

Unlike Godzilla, it's totally plausible that Baymax is a skin that will be available either via the battle pass or the item shop.

New Hope Chapter 6 skin

It may sound hard to believe, but Fortnite has an ongoing storyline that's very intricate, with Hope getting the spotlight in recent seasons. It seems Epic Games has more in store for the hero, as a new skin was also spotted on the leaked key art for Chapter 6.

Demon Slayer skins

Anime is massive in Fortnite, and one more is coming according to leaks. Tying up to the themes of Chapter 6 Season 1, leaks suggest Demon Slayer (Kimetsu No Yaiba for the purists) cosmetics are on the way.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 POIs

Again, while nothing's been confirmed by Epic Games, some leaks have popped up suggesting we'll once again experience a Japan-themed season. Previously, fans enjoyed a mixture of traditional Japanese architecture with cyberpunk vibes during Chapter 4 Season 2.

HYPEX leaked that there will be a "Demon Arena" in which players will be able to fight enemies and get loot. What kind of loot? Will it be bots or actual players? It all remains to be seen.

More leaks show images of a few interesting POIs that draw inspiration from Japanese architecture as fans had anticipated.

More interestingly, it seems Godzilla will be roaming the Fornite Chapter 6 Season 1 map destroying everything he encounters. On top of that, a giant turtle was also spotted. According to HYPEX, it will be a giant moving POI.

And that's all we know about the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6. Will be updating this article as more official information or leaks surface. In the meantime, check out how to enable Two-Factor authentication to keep your account protected.
