The big Destiny 2 7.3.5 patch, also called the Season of the Wish mid-season update, has brought forward a lot of changes to Bungie's looter shooter, including brand-new or reissued weapons to chase.
On top of kicking off the Guardian Games and the chase for the new Skimmer vehicle, players will get to enjoy balance changes to PvP, and a refreshed loot pool in diverse activities, including the fan-favourite Prophecy dungeon.
If you're confused about all the newly added weapons and those that got a big refresh, in this guide, we'll break down all the shiny new loot you can expect to see now that the update 7.3.5 is out.
Destiny 2 patch 7.3.5 new weapons
To make things clearer, we'll break down loot by activity, specifying whether it's a brand-new weapon or a reissued one. If it's a returning weapon, we'll give details about the changes it received, if any.
Let's start with the big one.
Prophecy dungeon
The Prophecy dungeon will receive three new weapons and three reissued ones.
New weapons
Prosecutor Auto Rifle: Arc, Precision Frame, 450 RPM
Adjudicator Submachine Gun: Kinetic, Precision Frame, 600 RPM
Relentless Pulse Rifle: Strand, High-Impact Frame, 340 RPM
This was a Trials of the Nine weapon that got sunset, it's finally back. Since it was gone for years, Bungie has classified it as new.
Reissued weapons
There are three reissued weapons.
- Darkest Before Pulse Rifle: Damage changed from Arc to Solar
- Judgment Hand Cannon: Damage changed from Kinetic to Stasis
- A Sudden Death Shotgun: Damage changed from Void to Arc
All Prophecy weapons will be getting a new Origin Trait, Crossing Over. It adds increased range and handling for the top half of the magazine, while rounds from the bottom half of the magazine deal increased damage.
Sadly, three weapons are also leaving the pool:
- A Swift Verdict Sidearm
- The Long Walk Sniper
- The Last Breath Auto Rifle
Guardian Games 2024
The Guardian Games brought a new weapon and two reissued ones for 2024.
New weapon
Hullabaloo Heavy Grenade Launcher: Arc, Compressed Wave Frame, 120 RPM
Reissued weapons
There are two returning weapons from previous Guardian Games
- Taraxippos Scout Rifle: Perk refresh
- The Title Submachine Gun: Perk refresh
These weapons are back from previous years with updated perk pools. These include Slice or Precision Instrument. Furthermore, a few perks were moved to different columns, like Repulsor Brace on The Title SMG, which is now on the third one.
Nightfalls
The Nightfall weekly rotator also got some love, with two new weapons joining.
New weapons
Wild Style Grenade Launcher: Solar, Double Fire, 100 RPM
This GL will be available as a reward for completing Nightfalls on March 5 and will leave the pool on the 12.
The Slammer Sword: Stasis, Vortex Frame, 64 Ammo Capacity
This Stasis sword will be available as a reward for completing Nightfalls starting on March 19 and will leave the pool on the 26.
The designs are eerily similar to some already in the game, such as the Fallen Guillotine Sword, albeit with some added default ornaments. But at least the perk pools and damage types will be different.
Of course, adept versions of both will be available for completing higher-difficulty Nightfalls.
Trials of Osiris
The tryhard PvP mode in Destiny 2 is also giving Guardians something to chase after. More specifically, a new and a reissued weapon.
New weapon
The Prophet Scout Rifle: Stasis, Aggressive Frame, 120 RPM
Being a Tex Mechanica Legendary Scout, it's similar to Spire of the Watcher's Long Arm. It will boast three Origin Traits: Alacrity, One Quiet Moment, and Tex Balanced Stock.
It will be the featured Trials weapon during the week of March 23.
Reissued weapon
- The Summoner Auto Rifle: No changes
The old faithful returns as it once was. It'll be the featured Trials weapon during the week of March 16.
Iron Banner
Last but not least, the Iron Banner is also getting two new toys, one brand-new one and a reissued one.
New weapon
Tusk of the Boar Grenade Launcher: Strand, Wave Frame, 72 RPM
Reissued weapon
- Multimach CCX Submachine Gun: No changes
Both weapons will join the Iron Banner pool when the event returns on April 2.
