Destiny 2 No Hesitation auto rifle: How to get and god roll

An AR that supports allies

feature image

The Final Shape has many surprises in store for Destiny 2 players, including a brand-new auto rifle that comes with a very special frame that allows it to heal allies. We are talking about the No Hesitation auto rifle.

While we've seen some weapons capable of healing fireteam members, such as the Lumina exotic hand cannon, the No Hesitation introduces a legendary frame to the game called Support Frame.

If you manage to get your hands on one with the right perks, the No Hesitation could be a must-have if you're playing a supporting role in high-end activities such as Nightfalls, dungeons, and raids.

So in this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about this unique AR, including how to get your very own No Hesitation and the perks you should be looking out for. Before we start, you may want to consider checking out how to enhance weapons in Destiny 2.

How to get the No Hesitation assault rifle in Destiny 2

The No Hesitation is extremely easy to get your hands on. Similar to The Call sidearm, this assault rifle drops from completing activities in The Pale Heart, The Final Shape's newest destination.

So essentially, doing patrols, Lost Sectors, The Final Shape campaign, and public events will all have a chance of dropping the No Hesitation for you. Now, let's get to the fun stuff.

No Hesitation God Roll in Destiny 2

First, we need to discuss this weapon's frame:

  • Support Frame: Flexible and agile frame capable of healing allies and hurting foes. Harming targets builds a restorative charge. Hip firing at allies while this weapon is charged heals them, with raping healing increasing weapon damage and bestowing restoration to your allies

As you can see, even without taking into account perk combinations, this weapon already has a very unique gameplay loop. After doing damage, a small green bar will show up below your reticle, shoot at your allies and you'll begin to heal them.

You'll also apply restoration, which is a Solar keyword that allows whoever is receiving the buff to regenerate health and shields over time without damage interrupting the process.

No Hesitation PvP God Roll

This is what you should be on the lookout with this weapon for PvP:

  • Column 1: Smallbore, Arrowhead Brake, Fluted Barrel
  • Column 2: Steady Rounds, Accurized Rounds
  • Column 3: Physic
  • Column 4: Incandescent, Circle of Life

As a support weapon, don't expect the No Hesitation to become a must-pick on PvP, but it could potentially find a place in the meta with the right perks. If you have Physic and prog the restoration buff, between the perk and the Support Frame, you'll have a 2x stack for allies.

Furthermore, Circle of Life will give you a nice bump in damage, so definitely a must-have perk combo for Crucible enjoyers.

No Hesitation PvE God Roll

  • Column 1: Smallbore, Arrowhead Brake, Fluted Barrel
  • Column 2: Steady Rounds, Accurized Rounds
  • Column 3: Physic, Subsistence, Demolitionist
  • Column 4: Incandescent

Where the weapon shines is in PvE. Even if you don't get Physic in column 3, opting for a more traditional perk, having Incandescent is a must. No Hesitation seems to work well if you're playing a Warlock and are the designated healer of the team during a raid or dungeon, so adding a bit of punch to your DPS and being a reliable add clearer with this AR while also handing extra healing plus restoration seems too good to pass on.
