Cloud9 Beastcoast have announced the signing of the now-former Luminosity Gaming staff duo Charles "Vivid" Stahelek and Forrest "Mossy" Perkett.
The decision comes after the departures of Eric "Fettuccine" Tong, who left the team's head coach position due to academic obligations, and Anthony "Froshii" Nassar, who joined Luminosity Gaming on August 23.
Both Vivid and Mossy have been working together since Vivid arrived at Karn & Co in August 2023. In March 2024, the American duo signed for Luminosity Gaming, where they helped the team to finish in fifth place of the North America League 2024 Stage 1.
In July 2024, Luminosity Gaming shocked the American viewers with victories over M80 and Spacestation Gaming to qualify for the Esports World Cup. In what was the roster's first-ever international competition, the team finished in 9th - 12th place after a win over PSG Talon but defeats against Team Bliss and the eventual grand finalists w7m esports.
Additionally, Cloud9 Beastcoast announced Fettuccine as the team's newest content creator as the BLAST R6 Major Manchester will remain linked to the organization.
Cloud9 Beastcoast's debut in the North America League 2024 Stage 2 will take place on September 5 as they will play against M80.
