A Call of Duty Easter Egg aficionado thinks the trailer for Black Ops 6 contains a teaser for the new Warzone map.

The Direct unveiled a wealth of information surrounding 2024's Call of Duty title, including details on the single-player campaign, zombies, and the innovative Omnimovement system that's bound to transform the way multiplayer matches are played.

Despite no information on the next chapter of Warzone, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a potentially hidden reference showcasing the next map for the battle royale.

In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Call of Duty content creator Geeky Pastimes noticed how detailed one of the areas for a Black Ops 6 map was. In addition to its detail, the size of the area also led to them thinking it was "part of a bigger map... like a Warzone map."

The rumor mill doesn't stop there. The discovery led Warzone Player Cassian to visit the Rebirth Island submarine. Inside the submarine, there is a map that matches up with the screenshot in the post above.

Many noticed the map's size is significantly smaller than the large battle royale maps that feature as the main battleground of Warzone, leading fans to speculate if the map is going to feature in the Resurgence playlist. This theory makes sense as Ashika Island was removed before Season 4 Reloaded of the Modern Warfare 3 cycle went live.

Rumors surrounding the next Warzone map continue to appear. It's believed that Verdansk is returning for the Black Ops 6 cycle but we'll have to wait until Call of Duty Next 2024 to hear more about what Raven Software has in store.
