CAG Osaka won the APAC Cup 2024 after victories against FearX and Bleed Esports' former core.

Playing on home turf, the Japanese kicked off their APAC Cup 2024 run with a 2-0 victory against the South Korean lineup, including 7-5 and 7-3 wins on Chalet and Lair, respectively.

On the other side of the bracket, despite playing with Adam "nudl" Hryceniak instead of Wu "Reeps96" Weichen, who couldn't travel to Japan due to visa issues, the now organization-less roster BLED defeated Gaimin Gladiators in a series that included two maximum overtime games on Clubhouse and Kafe.

Eventually, CAG Osaka and the Asian European mix roster met in the APAC Cup 2024 grand finals, where the Japanese took the victory after wins on Nighthaven Labs and Kafe Dostoyevsky.

While this Asian off-season tournament may feel like little, this could be a prelude to the Six Invitational 2025 APAC Finals. Except for BLED, the other three APAC Cup 2024-bounds are still in the race to qualify for the event that will be held in Boston, Massachusetts.

Other APAC teams fighting to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025 include Elevate, Dplus, FURY, Crest Gaming Lst, and the Chiefs. In other words, the upcoming open and closed qualifiers will be regional carnage ahead of the eventual Six Invitational 2025 APAC Finals, which will be played offline.
