Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has just launched, and players are fully immersed in its captivating campaign, high-stakes multiplayer, and eerie Zombies mode. Now, with Season 1 on the horizon, Activision is set to introduce even more content across every game mode.

The upcoming season brings new maps, modes, and a battle pass while also integrating Black Ops 6 features into Warzone, enhancing the experience for eager fans. Although the wait continues, this guide covers the Season 1 launch date and what to expect once it arrives.

Season 1 start time

Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 officially launches on November 14, 2024, at 9 AM PT on all platforms. This release is set for a Thursday, which gives players worldwide a chance to get ready for the season drop.

Below is a list of the start times for various time zones to make sure everyone is ready to join right when the season begins:

To help everyone start Season 1 right away, Activision will enable the preload for this season's patch on all platforms. Preloading usually begins a few days before launch, so players can download and install the update in advance.

What to expect in Season 1?

With Season 1 around the corner, there’s a lot for you to look forward to. Activision has given a sneak peek of what’s coming, and it’s packed with new maps, modes, and exciting additions to Multiplayer and Warzone. For Multiplayer, the season will feature Warhead, a new map perfect for intense 6v6 Face Off or 2v2 Gun Fight matches.

Warzone fans will also get to experience Area 99, a Resurgence map set in the Nevada desert, not far from Nuketown. Season 1 will also introduce new, unannounced modes and maps across Multiplayer and Zombies. Additionally, Zombies will receive an extra map later in the season with the Season 1 Reloaded update, though details are still under wraps.

The season will introduce some exciting mechanics from Black Ops 6 into Warzone, including Wildcards, Omnimovement, and unlimited Tactical Sprint. These features will enhance your mobility and strategic options in Battle Royale matches. Additionally, you can look forward to the launch of Black Ops 6's first-ever Battle Pass, which unlocks exclusive rewards, new weapons, and more.
