Three new maps are coming to Black Ops 6 have been revealed through official channels and will be part of the Season 1 content, which is set to begin on November 14.
The maps that will come out with the first expansion are titled Hideout, Extraction, and Heirloom.
It's hard to talk about these three maps as we only got a couple of overview clips of them.
The first map in the video is Extraction, located on the beach side. This feels quite big with the helicopter hangar being the central area. It will be a map made for traditional 6v6 game modes.
The second map in the video is Heirloom. Although it's difficult to say what exactly the building is, we think it's a museum. That is why we expect a map with plenty of rooms. However, the teaser of Heirloom includes images of a huge hall. We expect much of the action to take place there.
It's also worth mentioning that Heirloom is the only map of the three that will also be implemented in the 2v2 Faceoff playlists.
Last but not least we have Hideout, a map that feels very tactical and slightly smaller than Extraction. Hideout has a building in the middle and plenty of vehicles and boxes around it that will provide players with extra cover.
Judging by the footage, we believe both Extraction and Hideout are made of areas from the upcoming Warzone map called Avalon. This is a new Battle Royale map that will arrive sometime in 2025 after the return of Verdansk.
As we previously mentioned, Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be deployed on November 14, only two weeks after the release of Nuketown. With these three maps, the multiplayer side will have a total of 20.
