On November 9, 2010, Call of Duty Black Ops was released. The first-person shooter is still remembered as one of the best titles of the Call of Duty series, mainly because of its multiplayer and zombies game modes.

When players think about the now 14-year-old Treyarch title, Nuketown always comes to mind. The map located in Nevada is arguably one of the most iconic in the Call of Duty series for multiple reasons, including the map's symmetrical layout and its size. Matches in Nuketown are always chaotic and full of action.

Considering Nuketown's fame and the nostalgia that the map produces in the old-school fans, the news of Nuketown being included in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 was obviously welcomed with excitement by the Call of Duty community.

Less than a week after Call of Duty Black Ops 6 release, we now know when the map will be deployed in the game: Nuketown will be released in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 on November 1, the game's official X account has revealed.

In a post released by Call of Duty on October 29, the game developers went through the map, explaining all of the details hidden in it:

The original Nuketown is back! This homage to the version players first encountered in Call of Duty: Black Ops is an exact — though graphically much improved — version of the original, keeping the classic 1950s design of the Nevada testing site. For first-time Nuketowners and returning veterans alike, here’s the lay of the land:

Just like in Call of Duty Black Ops, we expect Nuketown to be one of the best maps in Call of Duty Black Ops 6. After a 14-year wait, fans will be excited to be back in one of the most-popular maps in Call of Duty.
