After all the multiplayer launch maps for Black Ops 6 were revealed, people started wondering if we would see a new version of Nuketown in the game.
Warhead, one of the maps in the list, was looking to take its place as it resembles a destructed version of classic Nuketown.
However, during the most recent episode of the Call of Duty Podcast, it was revealed that the Nuketown we all know and love will be added as a post-launch map.
It was also explained that Warhead is located close to Nuketown, explaining the similar houses and setting between the two.
The new version of Nuketown will be added on November 1st, a week after the game's release, and the following teaser was shown during the podcast where we can get a glimpse of it before getting destroyed by a nuclear blast.
Nuketown is not the only feature arriving on November 1st, as the Infected game mode will be added to the multiplayer side. This will be the first of many party modes arriving during the Black Ops 6 post-launch seasons.
While you wait for the game's release, you can read about all the confirmed weapons here and we have also prepared a guide about the multiplayer perks.
