Warzone analyst claims mouse and keyboard is better than controller

Is Warzone better on controller or mouse and keyboard?

A Warzone analyst claims using a mouse and keyboard is superior to using a controller in Call of Duty's battle royale.

The debate between controller players and those using a mouse and keyboard continues. Thanks to the aim assist of a controller, many believe it to be better than a mouse and keyboard but the additional precision provided by the latter makes it easier to lock onto targets from afar.

During the Warzone Esports World Cup broadcast, Call of Duty commentator Brodie 'Nfinity' Lyon claimed using a mouse and keyboard is a "cheat code" thanks to the extra control.

Following the solo seeding stage of the million-dollar tournament, Nfinity said: "It's a cheat code! It’s cheating, let’s be honest. Let’s call it for what it is guys, it’s much better. Keyboard and mouse players are insane.”

Judging by the reaction of fans, many aren't convinced with the claim. One player says: "People who give opinions like this have never touched a mouse and keyboard get on my nerves." Another adds: "Don't understand how an 'analyst' can be so disconnected, it's quite literally the opposite."

On the other hand, players from the UK believe the claims are an example of British sarcasm. Warzone content creator TacticalBrit states: "This level of sarcasm going undetected by non-Brits makes me proud to be British."

Whether the claims from Nfinity are sarcastic or not, they've certainly stirred the pot between those who score Warzone wins with a controller and those who prefer a mouse and keyboard.

Each input has its advantages and disadvantages and ultimately, it comes down to personal preference when players decide which input they want to use.

With the focus turning towards Season 5, the debate surrounding Warzone inputs shows no sign of slowing down.
