Team Falcons have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Montreal after defeating Twisted Minds in MENA League's last playday of the season. It will be the green roster's first international appearance since February 2024.

Since joining the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Team Falcons had only qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. After the team's performance in Denmark, their archenemies Geekay Esports took control of MENA and qualified for back-to-back BLAST R6 Majors, including Atlanta and Manchester, and the Esports World Cup.

However, after making deep changes to the squad, Team Falcons are back to international heights. The roster changed drastically after the arrivals of the Italian player Robby and the Kuwaiti duo of Guardz and Dov2hkiin.

After the first four playdays of the stage, Team Falcons had already built a strong lead at the top of the standings after an overtime win against ROC Esports and a regulation victory against Geekay Esports, two of the region's favorites alongside Team Falcons to qualify for Montreal. Following the team's result against the blue roster, seeing Team Falcons missing out on Montreal would have been a shock.

With this result, Team Falcons' race to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025 through the Global Standings is still alive as the MENA roster is in 18th place with 225 SI Points — qualifying for Montreal's second phase would see the roster adding 20 points to their tally.

Meanwhile, Geekay Esports' future at the Global Standings isn't looking great as the team currently sits in 14th place with 235 SI Points. As the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta quarterfinalists won't have any more chances to gain more points, only a miracle would see the roster qualifying for the Six Invitational 2025 through the Global Standings.
