On June 18, Wildcard announced the team's rebranding as the organization changed its logo and name, switching from "Wildcard Gaming" to "Wildcard". However, that update was just the tip of the iceberg.

In what's a shocking move, Wildcard have unveiled the popular streamer Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa as the team's new co-owner. With over 3 million followers on X (formerly known as Twitter) and over 6 million followers on Twitch, Amouranth is one of the most popular personalities on the internet.

Although Amouranth's popularity mainly comes from her days on Twitch, it's already been one year since the streamer moved to Kick. There, Amouranth already has 241,000 followers, which makes her the 17th most followed streamer on the green streaming platform.

In Wildcard's official statement, Amouranth explained that she "always had my eyes on esports." John Griffin, Wildcard's co-owner, added that “with the esports industry beginning to stabilize coming out of a few tumultuous years, we felt now was the best time to make a move."

While the famous streamer will work alongside Wildcard, this deal could have a big impact on how the organization follows Rainbow Six Siege's competitive scene. As stated by Wildcard in the team's official announcement, Rainbow Six Siege fans will have the chance to "catch Wildcard Gaming and Kaitlyn during planned Rainbow Six watch parties for Season 2 of the Pro League starting in Q3 of this year."

Therefore, this means that Amouranth and Wildcard will stream some of the North America League 2024 Stage 2 matches. Although the platform used to broadcast the games hasn't been specified, we expect it to be either Wildcard's official Twitch channel or Amouranth's Kick channel.
