SANDBOX Gaming qualified for the Six Invitational 2024 following Team BDS' 0-2 defeat against G2 Esports in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta quarterfinals.
The South Koreans needed the Frenchmen or LOS to miss out on the semifinals, as the yellow team would have dropped out of the Global Standings Top 20 if both rosters had won their quarterfinal series.
With 350 SI Points, the South Koreans will finish in 19th or 20th place on the Global Standings, depending on LOS' result against DarkZero Esports. If the Brazilians win against the Americans, the orange roster will qualify for the Six Invitational 2024. Meanwhile, if they lose, Team BDS will become the second team of the day to qualify for the tournament.
SANDBOX Gaming is the sixth APAC team to qualify for the Six Invitational 2024, the second from South Korea, as the roster joins SCARZ, DPlus, FURY, Team Bliss, and Bleed Esports.
