Wuyang is coming to Overwatch 2, first joining the fray for the usual test weekend. Before that kicks off, Blizzard has posted the hero's official gameplay trailer, which gives us a first look at all of his abilities.
As we know, the new support's kit will revolve around controlling water, and that is on display in the trailer. The character can use the element to heal allies, traverse, and push enemies away or deal damage. In case you haven't seen the trailer or if you want to give it another look, here it is:
With his Xuanwu staff, the character offers a lot of versatility in the battlefield and more creative ways to play. Here is his full kit of abilities and perks so you can read about everything he can do:
Wuyang's test weekend is set to take place from Thursday, August 14, at 11:00 AM PT and will end on Monday, August 18, at the same time. After that, players will have to wait until Season 18 launches to start grinding the hero in Casual and Competitive playlists.
The hero won't be added to Stadium at the start of the season, but he could arrive not long after, similar to what happened with Freya in Season 16.
