Wuyang is the next hero coming to Overwatch 2, becoming the 44th playable character in Blizzard's shooter. The new character was first teased during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight event back in February, and he's about to make his debut.
Now that his gameplay trailer has been released, alongside the list of abilities, we have gathered all the important details about the new water-centered character.
When is Wuyang coming out in Overwatch 2?
Wuyang is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, August 26th at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST), once Season 18 kicks off. As always, the hero will be unlocked to all players, meaning you won't need to do anything to get access to him.

We expect the hero to be available in both casual playlists and Competitive playlists. However, he probably won't be added to Stadium at the start of the season.
