A 7-1 win over already-eliminated DWG KIA has locked XSET into a quarter-final appearance. They now have 12 points, while Rogue and NiP can only reach a maximum of 11 and 12, respectively.

Previously, XSET have beaten NiP (7-3) DWG (7-4) and Rogue (7-4), though they lost their opening game versus Rogue (4-7). They a yet to prelay NiP a second time later today, at which point the group's runner-up will likely already be known.

After coming together earlier this year, XSET have already made it to the quarter-finals of a Six Major in Charlotte, where they were knocked out by the eventual runners-up, Astralis.

Since then, they finished fourth in the NA League for the second stage running to qualify for the Berlin Major where they have reached the top-eight once again.

This comes just an hour after Astralis were officially knocked out of the Major, while Soniqs were eliminated from playoffs running yesterday. This means that XSET may be North America's lone representatives in the playoffs unless Oxygen Esports can overcome a four-point deficit to Wolves.

As for the rest of Group A, with DWG now out, Rogue and NiP are left to fight for the second playoff spot, with these two teams set to meet at 4:20PM CET (UTC+2).
