With Season 4 Reloaded underway and attention already turning towards Season 5, the battle rifle category remains an underrated pick as marksman rifles, assault rifles, and SMGs continue to dominate the meta of the battle royale. Battle rifles are a hybrid between AR and Marksman, meaning they feel much heavier than some of the more popular weaponry.

Warzone battle rifle tier list
Battle rifles don't feature anywhere near the meta thanks to the stronger options available in other weapon categories. With that said, we've still managed to rank them based on their in-game performance.
S tier
- TAQ-V
- SOA Subverter
The SOA Subverter made a brief appearance in the meta when it first arrived to the battle royale and leads the battle rifle category alongside the MTZ 762. Both possess excellent firepower but the high recoil pattern makes them difficult to control in the heat of battle.
A tier
- BAS-B
- TAQ-V
The pairing of the BAS-B and TAQ-V slot into A tier. These weapons are mediocre at best, struggling to keep up with the majority of the arsenal. There's every chance they receive some buffs in a future update but for now, they're still worth avoiding.
B tier
- Sidewinder
- FTAC Recon
- SO-14
These battle rifles are even worse than A tier which says a lot. Armed with uncontrollable recoil, it's extremely difficult to make an impact in Urzikstan, Rebirth Island, Vondel, and Fortune's Keep.
C tier
- Lachmann 762
- Cronen Squall
The Cronen Squall dominated when it first arrived. Now it's received huge nerfs, it sits at the bottom of the tier list alongside the Lachmann 762. These aren't worth considering when building a loadout as there are far better options available.
