It's no mystery for Counter-Strike fans that some weapon cosmetics can be worth thousands of dollars. While these aren't the game's main attraction, skins are part of Counter-Strike's identity.

With the launch of The Armory in Valve's October 2 update, CS2 players can equip charms to their favorite weapons. Although the feature has been released today, the release of weapon charms has been a rumor for the last couple of months.
In today's Release Notes, Valve describes weapon charms as something that "dangles" and that you can put "anywhere you want." The developers aren't kidding, as the video displayed in their Release Notes shows how players can move the charm anywhere around the weapon.
Since the rumors about charms in CS2 showed up on social media, fans started to bring up the obvious: Valve hasn't come up with this concept.
For years, other shooter titles like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant have been attacked for "copying" Counter-Strike. Well, how the tables have turned, right?
The first set of charms released to CS2 are the Missing Link Charms and the Small Arms Charms. You can choose between equipping sausages or small guns to your weapon. Sounds like fun!
