Since Valorant's release in Jun. 2020, Riot's FPS has seen how the game changed after every deployed patch. With the addition of new agents, weapons, and tweaks to some abilities, the game has changed a lot if we compare it to its initial version.
Incredibly, Valorant already has 15 playable maps open for the community. With each map being different from the other, learning the secrets behind every site is crucial.
In the future, Riot Games will surely add new maps to Valorant. According to a leak by Valorant Updates, this could happen sooner rather than later.
New Valorant map to be called Bastion
Valorant's new map will be called Bastion. While the leak doesn't include information about whether Bastion could be added to the Competitive playlist, we expect Bastion to be added to the Team Deathmatch playlist due to its apparent size.
Earlier this month, the appearance of a cosmetic including a potential underground map triggered the alarms in the Valorant community. Curiously enough, we can see a big hole in the picture of Bastion.
Visually, Bastion has some similarities to Split and Bind. Unfortunately, no more media has been revealed about Bastion yet.
When will Bastion be released to Valorant?
We still don't know when Bastion will be released to Valorant. Fortunately, we expect Bastion to be released soon to the game, as the last Team Deathmatch-exclusive map added to the game was included on Dec. 5.
While it's likely we won't see Bastion being deployed alongside Clove, we expect to see the map being released sometime in the upcoming months.
What is Team Deathmatch in Valorant?
In Valorant, Team Deathmatch is a 5v5 game mode where players face off on a small map where they can use their abilities and weapons. The first team to get 100 kills wins.

- Stage 2: Sheriff and Light Shields, Stinger and Heavy Shields, Ares and Light Shields.
- Stage 3: Spectre and Heavy Shields, Ares and Heavy Shields, Bulldog and Heavy Shields, Guardian and Light Shields.
- Stage 4: Phantom and Heavy Shields, Vandal and Heavy Shields.
Additionally, new weapons can be obtained from the weapon spawners that are located around the map.
