Patch 10.02 is arriving soon on Valorant to start the month of February. Although we still don't have the patch notes for this upcoming update, we have a few speculations about what's being added on this occasion.
While we wait for more details and eventually the patch release, here is everything we have on the new version of the shooter.
Release date
Given the two-week space between each version, patch 10.02 for Valorant is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, February 4th. A maintenance period could take place before the patch releases, and this should be announced through the game's status page the day before.
The update rollout should start at 6:00 am PT for players in NA, LATAM, and Brazil servers. European players will probably have to wait until Wednesday, February 5th at 4:00 am GMT.
What do we know about the patch notes?
For starters, we could see a few agent changes, after all, Riot promised changes to Iso, Deadlock, Harbor, and Neon are coming. The last one might only get a few tweaks since the character received an overhaul recently.
The patch could also bring more quality-of-life additions, UI improvements, new features, and bug fixes.
With Valentine's Day happening in a little bit more than a week, the update could bring a new mini-event in time for this since the Year of the Snake event is ending a day before, on February 13th.
In terms of cosmetics, we expect this update to bring a new bundle to the shop. It appears a new Smite bundle is coming since a dataminer revealed that textures for a Smite Vandal were added to the game files with patch 10.01.
The patch could also add a new Valentine's Day-themed bundle to the store. If Riot is not bringing back the Capsule from last year, they are probably planning to have a different set on offer.
