Team Liquid have parted ways with Gabriel "AsK" Santos following the roster's poor performance at the Six Invitational 2023.

AsK joined Team Liquid in Sep. 2021 after the roster's semi-final finish at the Six Mexico Major. The Brazilian helped the blue cavalry to finish the season with the right foot as the roster was crowned champions of the BR6 2021 and reached the Six Invitational 2022 top six.

Later on, the 2022 season started with Team Liquid winning the Copa Elite Six Stage 1, which was followed by a semi-final finish at the Six Charlotte Major.

After missing out on the Six Berlin Major, Team Liquid decided to make a roster change. It was then when Lorenzo "Lagonis" Volpi arrived to take over the team's IGL role, which was AsK's main task. As a result of this change, AsK was moved to a more aggressive position.

His best performances with the blue cavalry came in the Brasileirao 2022 Stage 3, where he finished as the third-best player in the league with a SiegeGG rating of 1.20. Eventually, the roster would finish in second place of the Six Jönköping Major. Just one week later, Team Liquid would win the BR6 2022 Finals.

However, despite the great results both internationally and regionaly, AsK struggled at the Six Invitational 2023. He finished as the worst-rated player for Team Liquid in the competition with a SiegeGG rating of 0.89.

Now, Team Liquid have decided to part ways with him to elevate the roster's results. Nevertheless, it's still unknown who will be AsK's substitute in the roster.
