Teams

The teams included in Group B of the Six Invitational 2025 are the following ones:

Here's a look at all of the teams as we look at their numbers across the last three months of action and their results throughout the season:

FURIA Esports

Previous Six Invitational results:

  • Six Invitational 2021: 9th - 12th
  • Six Invitational 2022: 9th - 12th

FURIA Esports officially re-joined Rainbow Six Siege's competitive scene in March 2024 after acquiring the back-to-back BLAST R6 Major winners and Six Invitational 2024 champions w7m esports.

Logically, the expectations around the roster for the 2024 season were extremely high. Unfortunately for the Brazilians, due to multiple factors, mainly shields becoming the game's meta, the Black Panthers' results throughout the season were shy compared to the previous campaign.

The Copenhagen and Atlanta champions were knocked out of the BLAST R6 Major Manchester by Team Liquid in the tournament's quarterfinals. Later on, the Brazilians reached the semifinals of the Esports World Cup 2024 as they fell against the eventual champions, Team BDS. Finally, for the first time ever, the Brazilians missed out on a BLAST R6 Major as they couldn't qualify for Montreal.

All in all, the Six Invitational 2025 is the team's chance to prove both rivals and fans that they are here to stay.

FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester

Previous Six Invitational results:

  • Six Invitational 2018: 5th - 8th
  • Six Invitational 2019: 9th - 12th
  • Six Invitational 2020: 13th - 16th
  • Six Invitational 2021: 5th - 6th
  • Six Invitational 2022: 3rd
  • Six Invitational 2023: 13th - 16th
  • Six Invitational 2024: 2nd

FaZe Clan has been Brazil's best team in 2024 after winning back-to-back stages in the Brazil League 2024 and the BR Premier Finals 2024.

The team's consistency was also seen internationally. In Manchester and Riyadh, FaZe Clan were knocked out in the quarterfinals by the eventual champions, Beastcoast and Team BDS, respectively. Meanwhile, in Montreal, FaZe Clan was knocked out in the semifinals after another defeat against the French-majority roster.

After losing last year's Six Invitational grand final, FaZe Clan will surely want to redeem themselves in Boston.

Shopify Rebellion

Soniqs at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal

Previous Six Invitational results: Shopify Rebellion has never competed at the Six Invitational.

The former Soniqs' roster heads to the Six Invitational 2025 after a season full of ups and downs. A slow start to the campaign saw the Americans missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Manchester and the Esports World Cup 2024.

In August 2024, the team made three changes as Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski and Damian "Surf" Medina were signed to replace Bryan "Merc" Wrzek and Adam "Atom" Gutiérrez. Additionally, Seth "Supr" Hoffman joined as the team's new head coach after the retirement of Lauren "Goddess" Williams.

The tweaks made to the roster worked as Soniqs won the North America League 2024 Stage 2. At the BLAST R6 Major Montreal, the Americans reached the quarterfinals, where they lost against FaZe Clan. However, the team's result was enough to clinch a spot to compete at the Six Invitational 2025.

After Soniqs parted ways with the players, Shopify Rebellion picked up the roster as the organization will make its Rainbow Six Siege debut in Boston next month.

Team Secret

Team Secret at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal

Previous Six Invitational results:

  • Six Invitational 2023: 17th - 20th

Much has changed for Team Secret since last year. After successfully adapting to the Year 9 meta, the European-majority roster became one of the best teams in the old continent, finishing in third and second place in Europe's first and second stage, respectively.

Internationally, Team Secret have always reached the Finals this season. However, both Manchester and Montreal runs were put to an end by Team BDS, as the French-majority roster defeated Team Secret in the quarterfinals twice.

The Six Invitational 2025 will be Team Secret's second-ever Six Invitational appearance, two years after surprisingly qualifying for the Six Invitational 2023. The only player remaining in the team from the roster that competed in Montreal, Canada, is Lucas "Savage" Alves.

It will also be a special one for Jake "Virtue" Grannan as the Six Invitational 2025 will be the first one he plays for Team Secret after playing for Fnatic in 2019 and 2020 and the samurai between 2021 and 2024.

CAG Osaka

CAG Osaka at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester

Previous Six Invitational results:

  • Six Invitational 2021: 17th - 18th
  • Six Invitational 2022: 17th - 20th
  • Six Invitational 2023: 17th - 20th

After missing out on the Six Invitational 2024, CAG Osaka are back. The Japanese qualified for Boston through APAC's regional qualifier.

The Cyclops are the favorites to finish at the bottom of the group of death — not only because the clear difference in results between them and the other four sides in the group, but also for historical reasons.

Since the Cyclops made their debut abroad, the Japanese have always been group staged from international competitions. Here's a brief look at their performances since August 2019:

  • Six Raleigh Major: 13th - 16th
  • Six Invitational 2021: 17th - 18th
  • Six Mexico Major: 9th - 12th
  • Six Invitational 2022: 17th - 20th
  • Six Charlotte Major: 13th - 15th
  • Six Jönköping Major: 9th - 12th
  • Six Invitational 2023: 17th - 20th
  • Gamers8 2023: 7th - 8th
  • BLAST R6 Major Atlanta: 17th - 20th
  • BLAST R6 Major Manchester: 12th - 14th
  • BLAST R6 Major Montreal: 17th - 18th

In total, the Japanese organization has featured in eleven Rainbow Six Siege international events and have never survived to the group stage. Therefore, unfortunately for the roster, it's difficult to not see them as the worst side in Group B.
