Overwatch 2 Transformers: Everything we know about the collaboration

Autobots or Decepticons?

Overwatch 2 Transformers

Transformers is coming to Overwatch 2 in Season 11 as the next collaboration. The popular franchise from Hasbro is bringing some exciting new content, so it's probably time to decide if you're rooting for the Autobots or the Decepticons.

While we wait for more information about the content, here are the few details we have so far along with some of our speculations.

Overwatch 2 and Transformers

The Transformers collab for Overwatch 2 was teased at the end of the Season 11 trailer, with the game's logo transforming into the Autobots logo for a few seconds. At the moment, there are no more details about the new content.

However, the event will most certainly bring several new skins based on the characters from said franchise. It is safe to assume that one of those skins will be based on the leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime.

Keep in mind that the skins will be the Overwatch heroes cosplaying as the characters, following the trend from previous collaborations.

We might also see a new limited-time game mode or small cosmetics that are only unlockable by completing challenges. Once we know more about the content, we will update this section to add all the information.

When is the Transforming collaboration coming out?

According to the Season 11 roadmap, the Transformers collab is set to drop on Tuesday, July 9. The new content will be available in-game at 11:00 am PT (7:00 pm BST).
