The next is a WWE collaboration where the likes of Rhea Ripley and more are on their way to multiplayer and the battle royale as part of the Season 5 update. Alongside the appearance of several wrestlers, devs have also unveiled details on an in-game event packed with all kinds of rewards to earn.

Call of Duty SummerSlam event start date
The Call of Duty SummerSlam event begins on July 31st, 2024, a week after the Season 5 update drops on PC and consoles. The event runs for a week and through SummerSlam weekend, coming to an end on August 7th.
What is the Call of Duty SummerSlam event?
When the Call of Duty SummerSlam event is live, players will receive a set of challenges to complete across multiplayer, zombies, and Warzone. Thankfully, there's no need to stick to one mode as all the rewards can be earned before the timer ticks down to zero.
Information on the challenges hasn't appeared yet but we expect them to involve players loading into the new Slam Deathmatch mode for MW3.
Call of Duty SummerSlam event rewards
Just like the challenges, intel on the rewards during the Call of Duty SummerSlam event haven't appeared. However, based on previous crossover events, here's what to expect:

- Weapon blueprints
The SummerSlam crossover with the WWE isn't the only thing to look forward to throughout Season 5. Players can get their hands on the STG assault rifle, the Static-HV submachine gun, and the return of Valeria as a playable Operator.
