Just in time for the Year of the Snake 2025, a new event called The Spring Festival has been announced for Marvel Rivals Season 1. One of the biggest additions of this event is a new limited-time game mode called Clash of the Dancing Lions.

Although the name doesn't give it away, this is a Rocket League-inspired game mode, where 3 player teams face off against each other in a football match.

The games will take place on a brand-new map called World Arena, which recreates a traditional Rocket League arena as you can see in the image below:

Players can only choose between three heroes in this mode: Black Widow, Iron Fist, and Star-Lord. Each hero's ability will adjust to the game mode and the objective is to score on the opponent's goal as you'd expect.

Here is the event's trailer in case you haven't seen it so you can get a look at the game mode:

The Spring Festival will run from January 23rd to February 14, lasting exactly three weeks. While you wait for the event to kick off, you can check out our heroes tier list to see which characters are at the top of the current meta.
